David Meraz has over 10 years of campaign experience, either working directly or indirectly for over 12 campaigns. David specializes in micro-targeting campaign messaging and building coalitions. He has extensive knowledge in micro-targeting via direct mail, social media video ads and emails.
David started in politics in 2009, during the aftermath of Proposition 8. He began working as an intern with Equality California where he learned grassroots organizing and then interning at the district office of California Budget Chair of the Assembly.
David started as a campaign staffer in 2012, for Congressman Howard Berman, at the time this became the most expensive congressional race in United States history. After he continued his work in several different campaigns which included a successful win to now Los Angeles City Councilmember Bob Blumenfield, a 20 point for Measure A City of San Fernando and work on an independent expenditure that helped do a 30 point turn around for a win for now Los Angeles Council President Nury Martinez.
David graduated from California State Northridge with Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.
