Robert Blanco is part of the Firm’s business transaction team, working on corporate, commercial, mergers and acquisitions, and general business transactions for domestic and multinational companies.
Furthermore, he leads the Firm’s business immigration practice. In that role, he prepares both immigrant and non-immigrant petitions for skilled workers, executive managers, high net worth investors, and people of extraordinary ability in the arts, sciences, and business. His experience enables him to develop creative solutions for clients with complex immigration cases.
He also prepares EB-5 green card petitions for individual investors and advises U.S. businesses on how to structure investment projects under the regulations of the EB-5 program. In addition to individual immigration cases, Robert advises multinational companies regarding the immigration consequences of mergers, acquisitions, and other changes to corporate structure. He also counsels U.S. businesses regarding immigration compliance requirements and best practices.
Robert is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and has served in various liaison roles with the Southern California chapter. He is invited to speak on immigration panels at conferences around the world.
Robert graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Loyola Law School with a concentration in Corporate Law. Robert is admitted to practice law in the state of California.
